I have the same problem.

I tried to log back on, but it won't ask me again for the permission and I still get the same error.

Fixed the Problem

cd /home/root/usr/share
mv fonts fonts_bkup
mkdir fonts
cp -r *.ttf arabic/ chinese/ thai-ttf truetype/ type1/ fonts/

Wrong Encoding after trying to get more space

After almost never have space to use extras-devel, I tried to do this.

# mkdir -p /home/root/usr/share
cd /usr/
for FILE in games include local src var
do
mv $FILE /home/root/usr/
ln -s...

Found a solution for me.

- Open terminal
- Check apt's cache size: du -sh /var/cache/apt/archives
- If there's anything at all in the cache, empty the cache as root: rm...
