I recommend shortcutd. In addition to the cam key you can use the proximity censor for various things.

I made sure there's enough room in rootfs, disabled the additional repos I had used extensively and proceeded with the OTA upgrade. No problems encountered. Only had to redo my own HW keyboard tweaks...

I used the Storage Usage app to check rootfs space situation before 1.2 OTA. Got rid of a 20 meg icon cache backup file, disabled the additional repos and I was good to go. Over 60 megs free on...
