Please try a different bittorrent client, some work better than others. Furthermore (if you tried that one) the latest german archive is 20130106 - the one from 20130105 had some errors.

Actually there is no default location for dumps. I think /home/user/.evopediarc is only created when a dump is successfully added, so it could be normal that it is not there on your system. You...

Thanks for the note about the thunbmbnailer, I'll check that. It could be that it mistakes the math image database for a png file as it is just a sequence of png files.

The regular browser was chosen because I think it is much more comfortable than (for example) QtWebKit. Of course, if enough people want it, I can also add an option to view the articles in a browser...

Could you tell us the version of Evopedia you are using? Do you have any browser plugins installed? You could try installing version 0.3.2-maemo3 from Extras-devel.
