just overclocked to 800mhz. switching desktops that are full of shortcuts + widgets is so much smoother. It seems like the n900 was designed to have 800mhz anyway xD. Um, one thing though,

I know you can do this through windows, but only to stream media to your n900. Best bet would be VNC into windows or ubuntu. I reckon a remote or frontend for mythbuntu or something will pop up soon,...

I think Jakiman has the right idea but we have to get 100% solid proof that it won't fry the device, otherwise end users will think "speed boost, great!" then complain to nokia when it fries. :/

I don't like it much either but some widgets are unconfigurable and it unsettles the desktop :P
