Re: LIRC IRSEND Help
Actually it's a bit more complex than that.
As I said, I want to send a raw (pulse space encoded) IR signal, in the format used by the lirc conf files, (like using an "irsend SEND_ONCE blah...

Re: My Facebook client for the n900
Not well known, but:
http://x.facebook.com
Is the high-end mobile site. It's better than the N97 client, and the iPhone one. Currently the best facebook experience on a mobile device IMO.

Re: 3 problems
"essential" really?
Personally I'd check any device I was buying had "essential" features before I bought it...
The phone thing should show who's calling - unless I've misunderstood your...

Re: Mega Drive/Genesis emulator for Maemo
BTW, is anyone interested in my method to connect 2 wiimotes for 2 player games? I'll blog it soon if they are.
I have to say, 2 wiimotes, the N900 and the TV out cable makes for an ace portable...

Re: Remote control car controller?
Got a link to the video? I didn't say it was impossible, I just explained several ways it could work.
Of course you could do it over FM, if you created a FM receiver circuit in the car, that's...

Re: Remote control car controller?
"FM" is an encoding, not a frequency. The transmitter is ~90-110Mhz range with FM modulation.
What frequency and modulation do RC cars work on? I'd bet money it's different, as in most countries...

Re: Remote control car controller?
You could do it for an IR controlled car, like I have for my helicopter:

Otherwise unless the car can work with BT or wifi, you'd need to use a BT interface to an...

Re: N900 or N97?
I've an N900 and and N97.
On a recent trip to SXSW (thanks WOMWorldNokia :-) ) I put my simcard in the N97, but took the N900 instead of a laptop.
The N97 is a better phone, music player and...

Re: Got an N900 and a Mac, look here...
"working again"? it still works.
Syncing music on a (maybe specific) wi-fi connection would be easy enough.
I might be getting my own N900, in which case I'll work toward packaging this up as...
