That's good to hear :-) My N9 unfortunately died a while ago, so I had almost forgotten about this app, but now I got my Jolla and I'm starting to run against the limits of the built-in player.

sure :p but then others can help. I could look into at least one of those features. (On the n900 I had some dbus scripts I used to control the music player in a number of ways, including from my PC.)

how about instead of/before all these extra control options, you add a simple DBUS interface? Then we can script it for you... I think we'd need:

Sure, but is there a way to resume once the notification (or, to be ambitious, phone call!) is over? I believe the stock player does that.

Yesterday I confirmed a suspicion: when the music is interrupted because of a notification sound (message, alarm, calendar), it doesn't resume. That's a bit of a bummer.

This is my new player. Apparently, I have too much music either for the built-in player or Sigma :( reassuring though to use an app developed by someone who's also a mad collector.

This is now fixed, I have my N900 running with ext4 MyDocs and no problems. My booting issues were due to the awk madness that generates the fstab (why???) barfing on two partitions having the same...

Spoke too soon :-D it worked without flaw... until the next reboot. Now it won't boot no matter what. Playing around with rescue disks and whatnot to figure out my next step...

For me the motivation wasn't size, as I was satisfied with the partitioning, but I wanted MyDocs in a filesystem that preserves permissions (especially fed up with every file having +x when copied...
