your file has no extension... you need to rename it with a .gpx extension

You can rename it from xterm, or a file manager like gpe filemanager or emelfm2

you could open up xterm and run dbus-switchboard.py then try your association and see if dbus-switchboard is enabled for that type... maybe it is and theres just a...

if your running 1.2.8 then the icon for gpx file (in filemanager) should say GPX (custom icon) so i'd guess a reboot is needed... application/octet-stream would have been the detected mime type for...

yea its text/dbs-gpx

you running latest 1.2.8 version of dbus-switchboard? You should have many text/dbs- mime types listed, gpx being one of them. if you see none and have 1.2.8 installed,...

Did you enable the video/x-msvideo mime type in the defaults tab?

I wasn't aware of roadmap ... and that it associates the mime type... if you want to override that you can try enabling my mime...

If you installed the ready2run version then run emelfm2 as root from xterm so you have permission to edit cfg files.

Quake3 engine looks like it runs really well on OMAP3/pandora. And there are tons of maps and source ports for it too. Pretty amazing it does all the lighting effects and manages to run a few bots...

Yes i think that has been a limitation ever since the gui was added... you can still manually make those changes in a text editor, and dbus-switchboard engine should handle it, but the gui doesn't...

hmm... i found the problem... i commented out a line of code... and have no idea why.

You can edit (as root) the /usr/bin/ext2chroot and uncomment the line that reads :
mount -o bind /var/tmp...
