Thanks, but I'm already using the "suiduser=user option". It works find if I disable the GPS, but then it's not very useful for a wardrive. I've attached my kismet.conf file, as it is too long t post.

ok, I enabled gps in kismet.conf, and get this:
~ $ kismet
Launching kismet_server: /usr/bin/kismet_server
Will drop privs to user (29999) gid 29999
Waiting for Hildon gps to enable...
No...

Thanks, glad you like my site. I'm a noob to the n810, but so far I love the device. I just wish the power cord did not wiggle so much, it feels like it's not all the way in.

Thanks, what repository is "Personal menu" in? And TrulsT, what you said worked perfectly, though downloading 750MB to the n810 is pretty slow. :)

Using the kismet_2008-05-R1_armel.deb mentioned earlier in this thread, what is the most straight forward way to get it using the GPS and saving data to the miniSD card?

Thanks. As a side note, I installed Memo Mapper also, but there's no icon in the menu, I have to run it from the terminal. Is there a good way to fix that? I'm on Diablo.

One big .install file?
Hi all,
I'd like to ad a bunch of repositories all at once to my n810 running Diablo, but I can seem to find a .install file for maemo.org, and adding it by hand is a pain. some people post...
