Re: [Android] NITdroid 0.4.x
Unfortunately it does for me, in fact it crashes even more :-) (Was unable to enter an _ needed for my wpa2 pass-phrase)
I'm curious why the keyboard app is so unstable, even after a few updates....

Re: Another Android port: NITdroid
It seems I have the same problem, battery doesn't seem to be charging. (Or the battery meter doesn't show the right levels, but I think that's not the case because the device powers off a few minutes...

Re: Another Android port: NITdroid
Are you sure you're waiting long enough? It takes quite a bit of time for the first startup to complete.
Tried android myself on a N800, I have to say: impressive! Gives the N8*0 a whole new...

Re: Continuous unintended D-pad down scrolling
I also observed this problem under OS2008, and my screenprotector is on since OS2007, so its unlikely that's the problem.
It does seem to happen more often when running fullscreen, but maybe...

Re: Booting from SD card reduces battery time?
Not the same applications, thats why I'm not 100% sure if that's the cause. I tried numerous methods tracking down what eats the battery, tracing process stats, fsck'ing the cards so the crawler...

Booting from SD card reduces battery time?
I was wondering if you guys also noticed booting from SD card significantly reduces the standby time?
Often my N800 shows an empty battery after just 48 hours, where it was mostly standby...

Re: Podsync for OS2008 available
Oops, I forgot to update the version number, should now be fixed.
Those feeds do work for me now tough, so it seems it didn't update the podsync binary on your device.
Could you try to...

Re: Podsync for OS2008 available
Thanks ichmoimeyo and divinerites for the bugreports, I think I've diagnosed the problem!
Podsync didn't follow 'Location:' directives, which were used in those podcasts.
Version 0.0.8...

Re: Podsync for OS2008 available
Hmm, I have the same problem with that feed, looks like libcurl doesn't really download the mp3, but also doesn't report an error. Strange, I will try to find the problem.
Sorry for the problems,...

Re: Podsync for OS2008 available
You found the problem, it's in the section part of the package, thanks :-)
(I had red-pill mode activated, thats why I didn't understand the problem at first)
I've updated the package, it...

Re: Podsync for OS2008 available
Well, wget is included as a separate binary, not as a package, and installed only for podsync's own use under "/usr/lib/podsync".
(To solve issues with possible multiple wget versions / missing...

Could you try installing it from the commandline with "dpkg -i"?
Not really sure what's the problem though, there isn't anything...

Re: New OS, New Look
I like the new look a lot, it looks more modern, nice work :-)
One note: the "username" input box is a bit unreadable because of the dark gray font color.
