I have asked the Mauku developer now if he is prepared to make the Mauku client source code available to another developer who can finish what Henrik started.

I have been using an N900 for over a month now, and not experienced one single issue you mention. Take it from me, you have obviously been exposed to either an N900 with possibly a corrupt memory...

Tried to download todays update, but when downloaded to N900, when it tried to install, it said, "mauku is already installed". No option to update?

Just tried an .flv format video file, but it didn't play, and asked me which app to use to play it, but selecting either Media player, or Ogg version, said codec missing?

From the main screen, how do I access Menu?

All I have is "New message", "Overview", and "Contacts"

Agreed about the Ovi Maps being pretty basic on the N900 preview. Heres hoping things will get more useful soon.
