Gmail really isn't all that good. It's necessary, however, simply because you need an account to access the rest of the google cloud. I would imagine Amazon's cloud system could be a massive threat...

It's not "that important", but it's still useful.

GPS is not all that important if you got a good map with some planning done, it's merely useful at times.

BTW, N900 doesn't even have Garmin...

So let me correct my original assessment. The last time I checked, a GPS would not work more than "2 to 3 meters from a window" whereas a magnetometer would probably work fine in a fallout shelter....

The last time I checked GPS does not work in doors. And if my N95 is any reference, it takes about 5-10 minutes to get any sort of GPS signal anyway.
