After sending my phone out twice its finally fixed, very happy its actually better then new :D:D Unfortunately again they reset my phone ugh.

That was my first thought and checked both rails and guiders used some compressed air and still same results. I sent my phone in two weeks ago about the slider they sent back saying nothing is wrong,...

My slider took a turn for the worse and now its really hard to slide the phone from the right side open or even gets stuck UGH calling nokia AGAIN :eek:

The screen is suppose to slide down evenly not drag the other side down.

That is a fix but i personally think a 500 dollar phone shouldn't have issues like this.

I just sent my phone away as the screen is very loose, it actually pivots when its halfway open and there is a gap between the screen and the phone.

UPS charges a arm and leg to ship something...

you need to download rootsh from the application manager then run

sudo gainroot
apt-get install --reinstall mp-fremantle-generic-pr

sudo gainroot
apt-get install --reinstall kernel...

Did you plug it in the same usb port??? Did you hold the U button on the keyboard when plugging the phone in to the computer?

everyone should be getting theirs, i called yesterday to get mine replaced and the lady told me they have them in stock and i should get my replacement 3 to 5 days.

does not work on windows 7 the drivers will not install "Nokia Usb Rom", I did manage to make it work on linux ubuntu after two days :D:D
