that may or may not work "Selecting USB". in my experience, you have to select the N900 before it gets installed, so when it says something like "unknown usb device" you have to select it in XP mode....

when the phone app launches, it just shows the default view, i.e. the view that shows the call history list.

I have the camkey installed, which let me see the running programms when i press it, does it also launch the phone also? but i just tried, half-pressing it for a few seconds doesn't launch the phone...

it is in forced portrait mode... and it still randomly goes to landscape
has anyone also noticed that even if forced portrait mode is on, you slide open the keyboard and it goes to landscape?

you could also try the wifi-switcher

after you connect to wifi, just use the switcher to disable wifi then you'll be fine :)
