i think i know what he means. sometimes the usb part just come off the main board - this can be fixed easily. in some cases (my last n900 was affected by this, too) the usb damages the main board...

sorry i have to answer back...
the n9 users run all in an "error-too-many" error. sound's a little bit the same then our problem.

basically if whatsapp wouldn't recognice that an unsopprted app...

for the n9 whatspp client they fixed this issue by setting the client string to "Symbian-2.6.61-443" (latest symbian version).

may this works for yappari too!?

loos date? do you mean loose data?
there is no guarantee an that!!! But flashing just the kernel should keep all your data alive

just for the kernel flash you can use the -R option.
if it's not working the doc says:

"When flashing the eMMC content, the safe way is flash the eMMC/VANILLA image first, then remove battery for...

not sure about windows stuff but following the above linked dokument the executable must be called something like flasher-3.5.exe

correct. first try to flash with arguments --flash-only=kernel -f -R

complete command like:
sudo ./flasher-3.5 -F <firmware-image> --flash-only=kernel -f -R

first flash the kernel... give them a try. if it not works you have to flash the whole phone image. in second case your peronal data get lost!!!

Oh...
if you can get over the missing files (photos...) you should think about reflashing your phone.

hi,

i got the same problem with my usb port. after the phone wasn't repaired within 4 weeks i go to the nokia store again and ask them to give me the money back. they promised to find a solution....
