Yeah, i had problems connectiong to eduroam too (Tu Vienna, Austria), the trick is in the advanced settings, where you have to specify your username (the thing before the @). At least i think it is....

Quite the same for me. I was able to video-skype to a PC user without a problem whatsoever (except maybe a slow call initiation, whcih may result in a failed call attempt).
Video-Skyping to a MAC...

Hmm i tried it yesterday and it was fine. The only thing i can imagine is adjusting the screen brightness of the N900. Maybe its a 1:1 output. Not sure, however...

Yeah sorry about that, i was pi**ed because after 6 weeks under repair, i got a replacement N900 where GSM and Radio does not work.
But yeah, Reboot and/or using a different account once usually...

Indeed, it didn't work. After i calmed down and installed the fmtx-faker it works again.
Wouldn't it be for this excellent community and forum, i had long sold my N900 :)

The device was ent to Nokia on 15.02.2010. Today (23.03.2010) I got a replacement device, they couldnt repair it.
