Hi nicolai,
and the other way round - keep past unfinished task (forever) until they are finished. I believe this behaviour is the reason why there are stored as task/todos :-)

when displaying tasks+events, finished tasks are displayed as strikethrough text - could they be left out instead? leaving space for other events/tasks?

I have the same problem with Czech characters - actually there are two different problems:
Some characters are not displayed (I tried several available sans fonts - Droid, Nokia, Sans Serif)....
