Maybe you have to try to remove your skype & facebook accounts from your N900, then add it back again and see if it adds those contacts back.

This is possible. There's a watchdog watching for critical system processes. Since they're killed, that watchdog restarts them. If not - it reboots the machine. I guess it's better to add 1-second...

There's a problem in your script: it's encoding is not UTF8, so endline characters are false interpreted by shell. And you got such suck. Open the script with text editor, delete every endline it has...
