Not too fussed about installing custom ROMs, don't need to tinker that much, so I got the Milestone 2 from buymart.com.au for $380AU including shipping. Only took 4 business days to arrive from HK.

Just sold my N900 which I had for 14 months and was a great device.
Have ordered a Motorola Milestone 2 since it has a keyboard and 1Ghz CPU. Its been out since Nov 2010 so is quite cheap at $350AU....

Link no longer seems to have Nokia Map Loader.
In fact I cannot seem to find Map Loader anywhere.
Ovi Suite 3.1x doesnt seem to work either for loading maps.
Correction: Got it to work with Ovi...

On N900 install OpenSSH server from the repos.
On PC, assuming Windows, install WinSCP.
Connect to your WiFi router with the N900 noting its IP address.
Use WinSCP to login to the N900's IP...

1. Send and recieve MMS to Vodafone users works.

I also had various fatal errors when trying to sync with Google.
Note I;m only syncing the Contacts, nothing else.
For syncing with Google Contacts I simply chose the built in Google template.
