I have n900 and yesterday i won lumia 800 in a contest. I have tried lumia now for few hous and all i can say: its faster and smoother than n900, but not better for me.

What sucks in lumia 800...

Still i agree n900 is pretty slow and jams often. With keeping the phone as clean as i can it works pretty good....

I just installed cssu stable and the orientation lock applet to get the phone rotate again, BUT when im in portrait i cant scroll horizontally anymore, desktop goes only up and down, how can i make...

I reflashed vanilla, no backup. And that dpkg --configure -a message came after reflash. Now i can install programs from fapman but it always says error after install but still it succes, weird. Can...

My application manager says: Your system has partially installed or broken packages. You'll have to fix this manually. Try dpkg --configure -a

I just reflashed my rootfs and application manager...

How much memory nitroid takes ? Does it install to mydocs 28gb or space for software installations etc. /home 2 GiB ext3 ? Just wondering do i really need custom emmc size ?

Well i think its very user friendly. Easy to install and for me no problems so far. Go ahead. Ofc there is always slight risk that something goes wrong, but reflashing n900 is very easy.

Just a tip, you should tell in the first post that this installer is only for emmc and you dont need to download anything if you dont want to. Then people maybe stopped asking :P

No one didnt answer my question, what if i have the normal emmc size, how nitroid takes the space ? Will it install to rootfs or the bigger size ? I mean what is the advantage of flashing custom emmc...

How much memory nitroid take ? If i have normal emmc 2gb/30gb how does it take memory ? I have only 400mb left in root and 6gb in other, is that enough or what is the advance of installing custom...

Motorola droid 2 is 350€ in finland. Better than desire Z imo. And best qwerty alternative to n900 right now i would say.

I dont have any problems except my notification led bugs, it doesnt work or it works or sometimes it blinks green light when loading. But doesnt matter.
