Hey Buddy I have same problem with my N900. Nokia Care people said that it's CPU is gon and you know how it feels when you hear that "it can't be repaired." Anyways if you find any solution then...

My N900 is water damaged & is in Nokia service center right now (almost 2 weeks), but when I called them they said, "you phone is not yet recovered & if not possible we give your phone back to you"...
