I use my UE Triple Fi 10 with N900 and has a very good sound quality. But the volume is kinda low though.
Not sure about GS2. If you want the best audio quality, go for GS1 with voodoo sound...

Selling my N900 - Warranty left till November

Overclocking solved the choppiness totally.
BTW, as you have mentioned the idle cpu usage is kinda high , like 30% @ 250MHz, did you find any solution for that?.

BTW one questions though,
Incoming calls work great, nice quality ans smooth....
