I have the same problem since I used "optimize n900" i have no time now to reflash my brick and reload the backup ...
but i found two work around ...
first: switch on witn USB cable connected ......

With release 0.37 phonebook works fine on my Renault scenic xmod, but it doesn't work well for the calls log (history). In received, missed, answered calls i have the first 10 voices of the phone...

When i tryed to kill hildon-desktop the system fail, no file.
I found that transition.ini did not exist (/usr/share/hildon-desktop)- cssu asked me to...

i uninstalle multiboot...
i installed with success the new kernel but now at the boot i have the message "Can't flash the kernel, required files not found"

Italian landline gave error if you digit Italian international prefix from Italy

mobile doesn't care it ......
