You do not need PC Suite to USB tether, Windows will do it without any additional software. Just make sure you have Nokia Link installed on your computer as this will also install the USB drivers...

The biggest bug for me which still has not been addressed by PR1.2 is the inability to initiate a Skype call when in flight mode but connected to WiFi.

Nokia USA Service Question
As the Lumia 800 and N9 share identical chassis and battery, has anyone gotten their N9 battery replace by Microsoft/Nokia USA? I would be willing to pay out of pocket too.

My phone has always done this. Even after manually flashing to PR1.2. The battery icon stays static. I have rebooted numerous times, resetted my phone, and still can not get the icon to move around...

I can attest USB tethering works. I have tested with Windows XP and Windows 7. Just make sure "Nokia Connectivity Cable" driver is installed which automatically gets installed if you use Nokia Link.

Manually flashed to PR1.2
I had major lag upon first reboot. Rebooted 2x and now the UI flies. Much smoother and faster than PR1.1

Not sure if anyone else is having this issue, but as of two days ago, the phone is stuck on "Checking for Updates". It never connects to the Nokia server to check to see if there's an update. PR1.1...

I have had no luck with the Ovi trick. Ovi does not recognize my N9. What am I doing incorrectly? I installed the old version of Nokia Ovi Suite with my internet connection disabled.
