Here's my not-so-refined work around for the moment.

I found out the contact that is causing the problem. So I DID NOT SYNC any contact. Then I ask the other party to whasapp me.

Tks. I just tried it but it didn't work. Says 'wazapp: no process killed'

So I deleted the .db file and Wazapp can be launched again.
Btw, should the log.txt and previows-log.txt in the .wazapp...

oops! My bad.... It was 'failed too many' error using the dev version. This 'wazapp not supported' was when I tried to roll back to ver 2.6

I second that the gallery should be arrange according to date, in descending order. But a nice touch to include the filename in the thumbnails as well.

just to share that this is not true for symbian belle. Whatsapp on my N8 require a sim card to initialise. Once initialised, you can use wifi to send and receive and remove the sim card.

from Singapore, sms registration took around 20 mins. App detects and automatically register the sms sent by Whatsapp.

However, I can only receive and send msgs after a reboot. Still testing it...

Just to update that Filebox now opens the allcontacts.vcf, showing multiple contacts!

The changes? I updated to PR1.2.

I did. Still not working.

PR1.1, OTA update. It was not a flash but I did a factory reset once in PR1.1.

Still waiting for PR1.2 in my region and carrier specific type.

no, i did not open the wrong file. Is it a Filebox setting? My version is 0.0.9 from Ovi Store. What i see is the single contact view that you've shown.

As far as I know they are local contacts. I did a full reset and restore the contacts via the phone's backup system.
