There will always be slowdowns when installing apps, so it's not caused by FasterN9. This is a non-issue, to be brutally honest.

I think there was a post in this long thread about it not playing nice with Drop Cache or some kind of geocaching app. Not entirely sure though. What I do know that it involves the word "cache" :D

The problem here is that you're saying it's unstable, but you don't even give any other description about it. How is it unstable? What error messages are you getting? What apps are loading slower?...

My power consumption seems to have stabilized. After a couple of days of normal usage, my idle power consumption with PR 1.3 is back at 8-10mA. :)
