Last time I tried, I had the same problem with Twitter's "replies" page. (twitter.com/replies once logged in)

Re: Mono 1.9.1 + WinForms for maemo
I'd love to be able to use Tomboy on a NIT.
When I tried to install it on my N810 from the .install file, it said "Tomboy could not be installed" (helpful, thanks)
On my old N800, it actually...

Re: How do you assemble the car mount?
OK, I figured out the magic secret, which is that the little Nokia logo piece in the center of the holder part pops out, and covers up the screw head when you're done.
So, I have it assembled now,...

How do you assemble the car mount?
I am completely baffled by it.
The only thing covered by the instruction manual is how to slide the tablet into the holder. I could figure out that much on my own. :)
But there's also this...

Re: N810 GPS - constantly 'searching'
I've taken the N810 on a couple of 10-15 minute "walks" outside today, and it hasn't locked on then either. I'll keep at it and report any (hopefully) success.

Re: N810 GPS - constantly 'searching'
I'm having a pretty similar experience.
I have an N810 sitting on a third floor window sill, with a pretty clear line-of-sight to a wide area of sky. The Map application is running, with the GPS...

Re: Anyone able to install MaemoPad+?
Thanks for the "Select All" tip. I missed that at first. I thought I had hand-installed all the repositories, but saw only MaemoPad, not MaemoPad+.
After doing a Select All, it's there now,...

Re: Anyone able to install MaemoPad+?
Thanks for the pointers.
Should I file a bug on Bugzilla that Tableteer sends people down a road that ends in sadness?
Update: I just did. Seems like if Tableteer is meant to be the consumer...

Anyone able to install MaemoPad+?
It's a "featured app" on Tableteer. The link goes to the SourceForge page. I click the OS2008 installer, which complains about a missing dependency. I scroll down the SourceForge page and see...

Re: Still searching for a good personal wiki
I worry that TiddlyWiki might not gracefully handle a large amount of data, due to its single-file approach.
But it is a good suggestion that I had forgotten about, so thanks! I'll check it out....

Still searching for a good personal wiki
A robust personal wiki would be a killer app for me on my N800. I'm specifically looking for something that will work offline, so I don't need an internet connection to read and edit the wiki.

Re: Hello!
I have 2GB PNY cards in both slots that I bought for like $20 at Wal-Mart. So far, they haven't died, but I don't do a lot of intensive access to them, just the occasional load or save of a file.

Re: Sample Code Request: Simple bitmap display
Thanks to maba for the SDL suggestion. Since it's cross-platform, I can do most of my development in my native Mac OS X environment, and then just fire up the Maemo VMWare appliance if I want to...

Re: Sample Code Request: Simple bitmap display
SDL was already installed on my N800. Whether that's by default or if it's a dependency for something else I installed, I'm not sure.
Although libSDL was preinstalled in the Maemo VMWare...
