There's no need to ask. they'd probably say no because it is proprietary code anyway... many n9 users have petitioned for official support but it fell on deaf ears..

but knotbviker said it wasn't a block in the earlier change of protocoltreenode.py file. by my limited understanding, i think that change had nothing to do with encryption or blocking or traffic.....

hmmm... you got this bug too while mass syncing or after mass syncing? My mass syncing did not seem to cause this directly. I was chatting halfway and everything was working well until my messages...

The way i see it, Whatsapp Inc. might as well endorse the work of these brilliant people like Cepi, tgalal, knobtviker, alee, etc. as the official harmattan client and provide all the API support...
