My Time Steel watches (3x) all still are working fine with more than 1 week battery life , The Pebble time rounds have all had battery failure. I replaced a couple, but my repair skills also...

This is amazing. N900 running a 2024 operating system. I was so nostalgic I expected to see Angry Birds in the HAM! :-)

how to run as root?
Sudo Gainroot (from Rootsh) was how i did it in Maemo5.

I cannot find anything similar.

How to find IP address so I can SSH into it.

Progress.
Kernel-cssu-modules was in conflict. removed it and ignored the end of world warnings - installed kernel-modules.
U-boot-flasher installed and managed to get Leste option on the boot...

I have installed bootmenu as u-Boot seems to have issues. How do I add Leste as an option in the Bootmenu listing?

I tried this:-

Thanks for the clarification. It was just a thought as I have a spare N900 so though it would be nice to play if it was close to a daily. My guess is that by the time Leste is ready on N900 to go...

I have a 128Gb SD card in my N900 - but had to partition it as 2 x 64Gb drives as this is the biggest the N900 seems to support reliably.

It did work as a 128Gb drive but sometimes failed to...

That did the trick. At least sms notification worked and music tracks, so far that i tested. Forgot it is a new N900 I got since I last installed Maebble, so none of the original install...
