I also then still registered with Wazapp and then the account taken in WU... Never had problems since then, only the connection failure in the last days. Even after the update to V. 1.2.9. Send first...

So crazy it is , now it suddenly works WU again. Since last night until earlier it did not work!!! I do not understand that :confused:... did not change anything...

Can confirm this :( WU now complete useless on N9... Hope for an Update, what good is the best smartphone , when the messenger to 90 % of the contacts to use does not work...

After Deactivation of read receipt and Availability on "always offline" i can temporarily receive messages and send :)
Connection is still unstable but at least is WU usable again...

Hi. Es gibt leider bis jetzt keine Lösung für dieses Problem. Ursache dafür sind wohl Protokolländerungen seitens WhatsApp, die zwar bereits in yowsup (von tgalal, darauf basiert whatsup) integriert...

I have seen that many changes in yowsup (V.2.4) have been made, Protocol-Update (S40 env to 2.12.96), E2E-Encryption enabled etc... This Changes are not implemented in Whatsup 1.2.7 and these are...

have you enabled in Settings - Internetconnection - allow connections in the background ?
When it not enabled, Whatsup disconnect in Standby...
