I second that request as I have tried running the virtual image and get stuck with a "temporary domain lookup failure" whenever I try to run anything from EsBox. It seems its trying to install missing packages and failing but I am not sure what needs fixing.

I must say, its REALLY frustrating after having used Visual Studio where it "just works". The documentation on and linked from maemo.org is all over the place, not at all useful for newbies.

I was rather hoping I could write a few simple Python applications to get started but at this rate I have a better chance doing it live on the N900 than via the SDK. That will be annoying as it could be a wasted month depending on when the N900 finally get shipped.
