I have read and followed the long thread:
http://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php?p=461993
and have followed the steps in
http://wiki.maemo.org/Fremantle_Unsu...tooth_profiles
I can pair the keyboard, but it does not send any keys to the N900.
-----
This was an interesting day-long journey of updating Maemo, installing rootsh, editing /etc/bluetooth/main.conf.
But in the end, I can pair the N900 with the SU-8W. but once paired, the keyboard has no effect:
It was not easy figuring out the sequence of steps to take:
You must of course have the keyboard turned on (Bluetooth and on/off icons flash about once a second) and then first choose
Pair
on the N900. This offers you a four digit random code. Wait until the
Fn
icon lights up on the keyboard, then type in the four digit random code and hit the Enter key.
You get a yellow banner declaring that pairing was successful and the Bluetooth and on/off icons continue flash about once a second.
I then open a Notes page or a new email. But neither receives any input from the keyboard.
Any further suggestions beyond
http://wiki.maemo.org/Fremantle_Unsu...tooth_profiles
(which does NOT solve the problem)?
I can pair but then no key input is received.
Best regards, Andy
