I've not worked in networking at all but I have to agree. I went to their website, looking for an android install. Couldn't find it. After some reading comprehension kicked in, I figured it out. WisperMonitor 0.1 is included in their encryption software (0.3 beta). This software needs to be installed on your computer first, then presumably? you can somehow install it on your phone? Seems very fishy to me, not only am I potentially compromising my phone/tablet (and google accounts), but I may compromise my computer as well? Not until I see a lot more info about it. In the meantime, Droidwall does an excellent job using whitelists for access to both wifi and 3G.
