Noooo!

this file keeps information about which packages are installed etc. And from your output it looks like your phone has problem with fapman package icon. Do you have leafpad or pygtkeditor or other text editor installed? if yes, open this file as root, e.g.:

root
leafpad /var/lib/dpkg/status

and find fapman entry. It should look like this: (override it with this text if it' different)

EDIT: quote removed, see attachment instead

And there should be empty lines before and after this whole entry.

If error still occurs, check package which is above fapman in this file.
