Exceedingly impressive visuals. Truly.
But this usher's in true device fragmentation, where Nvidia is attempting to turn devices running the Tegra into a 'platform' of sorts, with games that will only work on its hardware. Surely playstation is doing the same and if this is a popular strategy, expect others to follow suit. The community danger is the comfort of the eco-system that companies set up. If the tools are easy to use, and the revenues are high enough, developers may opt to target specific devices rather than other architectures in the development of their games.
It's like the console wars have found a new front.
I personally don't have a huge problem with this, but I would like to see how Google responds. No doubt that Google is well aware of this and is trying to coax game developers to use methods that are platform agnostic, however I think it will take a serious action to prevent a fissure in this very high grossing area of the market.
