Exceedingly impressive visuals. Truly.

But this usher's in true device fragmentation, where Nvidia is attempting to turn devices running the Tegra into a 'platform' of sorts, with games that will only work on its hardware. Surely playstation is doing the same and if this is a popular strategy, expect others to follow suit. The community danger is the comfort of the eco-system that companies set up. If the tools are easy to use, and the revenues are high enough, developers may opt to target specific devices rather than other architectures in the development of their games.

It's like the console wars have found a new front.

I personally don't have a huge problem with this, but I would like to see how Google responds. No doubt that Google is well aware of this and is trying to coax game developers to use methods that are platform agnostic, however I think it will take a serious action to prevent a fissure in this very high grossing area of the market.
I don't actually believe this falls under Googles pervue. Technically this is outside the Android OS and is no different from the HTC watch app or the Samsung game hub etc. Each manufacturer is competing for a slice of the pie. Its stuff like this that will determine if they get the gaming slice, video slice etc.

In some respects it actually helps the user determine what device they want because they can tailor it towards what they are into.

Me I am still waiting on the Sensation reviews. But every day I head over to clove and expansys and come close to hitting the "Buy Now" button on the Samsung II S
