I was using the wrong location to check that the widget is installed, hence the missing settings. I have changed it to the correct location for the next release.

I plan to implement the search bar, but I haven't been able to get the widget to capture the keyboard focus. I have an idea of how to do it, but it isn't top priority atm. I will get round to it when I've finished polishing the main application.
