ehh ok, forget that, something went wrong...
Try this instead (all letters lowercase, wach out for typos!):

touch /etc/init.d/avahi-daemon
chmod 755 /etc/init.d/avahi-daemon
That's the easiest way to repair your problem, but I tried earlier to help you more (too much I guess :P)
