If nothing else, FB apps generally look very nice and are easy to view outdoors. Sociality is very good, but besides the main menu it's pretty cluttered and looks almost like MS DOS in presentation. That's a general appearance thing beyond the background colour, but certainly, it contributes.
I got to agree. The app is amazing, only thing that I like less is the appearance. The best is getting one good color pallet and be using that for the whole application. Stick to it and lighter colors, black text over white is easier to read then vice versa.
