whats the difference between bash and busybox?

since the cpu is going to be arm does this mean that we can port applications from maemo fairly easily? for example install multiboot and put nitdroid? Or install generic meego onto the system? depending how much freedom where given. I also hope they release a GUI for the flasher program. But so fair this is all a pipe dream.
