2) What if its just a 7" or a 8.9" tablet that does have a microphone, an earpiece and the proper voice dialing (GSM/CDMA) frequencies ......basically an oversized phone.

#2, unlocked. I already have a phone with data service that I can tether to. Wifi only is preferable, but having a cellular radio at least gives the option for data. I still think 7" is an ideal tablet size.

I'm waiting (not so) patiently for a 7" tablet with decent specs. My current one is alright, but has some faults that I'd like improved.
