We'll see. Of course wp7 has a one year headstart (dev tools), but there were also other factors at play here. Mainly that other manufacturers had no interest in meego (because its nokia's child) and the fact that it would not have stood a chance in the american market. IMO they should still pursue a two-platform strategy, wp7 and meego.
