I haven't contradicted myself. "Releasing" two devices but only selling one happened before at Nokia. There was a developer device based on the N900, probably you haven't seen it. This was never intended for sale. It had an ugly (but functional) casing. The only difference this time is that the developer device originally was planned to go on sales. This plan was changed back in October 2010. Since then it was used internally as developer device. But as there were already a lot of produced devices they decided to give them to developers in a community/developer device program. This program should start before the announcement of the consumer device. So to sum up (I'm sure you've problems to read everything..): Two devices released (as in given out from Nokia) but only one device goes on sales. Have a nice day.
