elop said about that, that the (short) time between announcement and release will be 1-2 month. two weeks would be a very short time, remember that the devices not only needs to be produced, it needs also to be shipped to the stores, and if the device is manufactured eg in china, two weeks would be impossible, as long as they didnt already produced a lot of them to ship.

announcment : 21. june
release: august/september (Q3)
