For now there is not much that shows the consumer device is better. Only display is better. But on on a 4 inch display the resolution difference is not much noticeable I think, it's more for bragging rights.

I rather have the N8 camera module and hwk instead of all the other features the consumer model has. I don't think the consumer device has anything that can compensate the lack of hwk and N8 camera.

I still hope there will be a way to get the developer device.
How do you get into the developer program wherein the developer devices are doled out?
