Mabe you can try install it manuall and see.

using filebox

create new folder called gpSP in /home/user
copy all files in /home/user/MyDocs/gpsp-1.0.3-0maemo5/bin to gpSP
copy /home/user/MyDocs/gpsp-1.0.3-0maemo5/bin/bin/gpspm to /bin/
move /home/user/gpSP/libsprig.a to /usr/lib
move /home/user/gpSP/libsprig.so.1.0.1 to /usr/lib/

using xterm

chmod 777 /home/user/gpSP
chmod 777 //home/user/gpSP/gpspm
chmod 777 //home/user/gpSP/*
chmod 777 /bin/gpspm
chmod a+x /home/user/gpSP/
ln -s /usr/lib/libsprig.so.1.0.1 /usr/lib/libsprig.so.1
