The problem I have in foreign cities is that I can't find any wifi to download maps, etc. It would be good to be able to obtain POIs of wifi access points/shops/pubs/etc. for a given city before going. A sort of travellers' pack for a given city to integrate with maemo mapper/other mapping system.

I know this can be done, I'm just not sure how easy it is to do for an arbitrary city that you don't know.
