That IS neat; I never knew you could get uppercase like that.

I use my N810 almost exclusively now, though. Different people have different needs -- I use it mostly for instant messaging and IRC, and being able to see what the other person is saying while you type is amazing.

If I could do that on IRC on my phone, I might not have an IT at all, although both are much better than my phone at other things.

Anyway, I don't see why people are hostile to an add-on accessory like this. People who wanted one would buy it, and those who didn't, wouldn't.
