And isn't NFC just a pairing technology? It will still rely on your BT (mostly BT) for the data transfer.
I think you have misunderstood what those speakers use NFC for. They only use NFC to make Bluetooth pairing easier. Once the devices are paired, Bluetooth is used to stream the sound.

And NFC can be used for pairing Bluetooth devices and much, much more (but not replacing a FM trasmitter, sorry).
