A lot of talk has been made about the N9 as the last ever Maemo/meego device and Mr Elop said yesterday they are going to release at least 10 more Symbian devices.

Yet I thought Symbian was being dropped completely and Meego was to live on for the "Future Disruptions" department.

The R&D Funding chat used by Nokia (Here) says while funding for symbiam will stop, funding for Meego will only shrink slightly.

So has something changed or is it possible we might actually see more Meego devices?
dont listen to em its just PR, to make WP7 transition look good. even if its a huge mistake.

by making nokia solely dependant on microsoft they will carry wp7 by brand name. WP/ sales are terrible and mango wont save it.
even if market ask for android or meego.

elop just trying to stop meego, bringing it support down and sales limited.
n9 turns into a success nokia will have to rethink strategy, but elop is making sure that doesnt happen.

wp7 sales are going to be bad, but they won't restrict 100k meego devices that are going to be produced.
