Naw. But API's that are tied to a heavily in need of update(s) and/or fixes means what exactly though.

That's a problem to me. It's not the API. It's not the access. It's the lack of updates and/or fixes (WONTFIX) that is a problem to me to what I'll be writing to.

I have no control over that in any other API for the most part; but they actually get updates. The promises that once the shininess wears off on Harmattan that the API's I'd use will continue to get updates is probably closer to zero than others are willing to admit.
